There's something for everyone in OHC with summer park events

The summer months are arguably the best and busiest time time of year in Ohio City. There is something for everyone, every day of the week, from live music and unique outdoor entertainment to family-friendly programming that makes good use of wonderful neighborhood parks like Fairview and Greenwood. Take advantage of all of the summer happenings in our neighborhood!

Fairview Park on West 38th & Franklin offers ice cream socials with live music and kids activities beginning at 6 pm each Thursday evening. Greenwood Park on West 38th Street south of Lorain Avenue  offers yoga in the park each Tuesday for $10. All levels are welcome!  On Saturday at the West Side Market, join us for the live music at Open Air in Market Square. Local talent takes the stage on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. On the third Saturday of the month, Bazaar Bizarre will bring local craft vendors to sell their one-of-a-kind pieces. On Sundays throughout the summer, ice cream, popsicles and treats will be served from 7pm.

This year, you’re also invited to join local Ohio City businesses for Artisan First Fridays. A bevy of local businesses will feature specials, art, music and more.
