Talk of the Town: What Does Affordability Mean to You?

The term affordability is relative to each individual based on values and lived experiences. If we are on the same page regarding this sensitive topic, we can begin to understand the perspectives of individuals and communities.

We will develop a shared language for Affordability, Gentrification, and Displacement to guide future conversations and also explore ways to leverage community resources and relationships that address community needs.

Refreshments, childcare, and transportation will be provided.

5:10pm – Urban Community School main parking lot (4909 Lorain Ave)
5:20pm – Paul Dunbar Elementary School parking lot (2159 W. 29 St)
5:30pm – Riverview Tower parking lot (1295 W. 25 St)
5:40pm – Fairview Gardens parking lot (3207 Franklin Blvd)
5:50pm – Lakeview Community Center (1290 W. 25 St)
Transportation after the event will begin at 8:15pm.

CHILDCARE DETAILS:
For youth ages 2-12 years old
Parents are responsible for feeding, changing, and administering medication to their child(ren).

*** PLEASE NOTE! CONSTRUCTION ON FULTON ROAD ***

Fulton Road between Franklin Blvd and Lorain Ave is currently one-way (Southbound). Use Franklin Blvd to arrive at Franklin Circle Church. The parking lot is available on a first come basis. Street parking is also available in the vicinity.
