"Dear Ohio City Residents and Businesses: I feel it is important to THANK YOU ALL for your tremendous support of Lutheran Hospital during this COVID pandemic. Your appreciation for the efforts of our caregivers means so much to them. The pleasant way in which you cooperate with our COVID policies while visiting Lutheran makes our jobs so much easier. Our goal is to take care of your health care needs with the same quality and safety as always. We were the #1 rated Community Hospital in the country this year for quality, safety, and patient experience by Vizient! Your support plays an important role in this. Our hospital remains open and is safe. Please feel comfortable returning for care. I want to particularly thank several members of the Franklin-Clinton Block Club, and other residents who wish to remain anonymous, who worked with Whitnye Long Jones at OCI to deliver locally made meals to our caregivers on May 13th. This supported local businesses while feeding our caregivers. What a great dual benefit! It demonstrates the caring and passion that is so emblematic of Ohio City. I am so proud to work here and to live here. Stay safe and stay well. Don Malone President, Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital"
