SUMMARY:Bridge Ave Traffic Calming Community Engagement Meeting
DESCRIPTION:In response to concerns expressed by residents about speeding and traffic flow\, a “quick-build” pilot project—including traffic circles\, curb extensions\, and new crosswalks—will be installed on Bridge Avenue this summer as part of a broader traffic-calming effort across the city. \nFollowing the success of the mini-roundabouts on Franklin Boulevard—results of which include a 76% decrease in crashes—city officials are optimistic that the Bridge Avenue efforts will deliver similar safety improvements for drivers\, bicyclists\, and pedestrians. \nFor more details about this project\, you are invited to attend the following meeting hosted by the City’s Division of Traffic Engineering and Ohio City\, Inc. \nParticipants can review the plans on an interactive engagement map created by the city here.
